The aromatherapy benefits of peppermint are plentiful. The smell of this powerful plant energizes the mind and senses while soothing your tired, achy muscles at the same time.
Here’s the recipe for our favorite DIY peppermint foot bath:
- ½ cup powdered milk
- ½ cup Epsom salt
- Loose peppermint tea
- Open 1 or 2 peppermint tea bags to create loose-leaf tea
- Mix all ingredients together in a bowl
- Store in airtight container, such as a lidded pint or half-pint jar
Place ½ cup of the mixture into a foot bath-size tub of comfortably hot water. Insert feet, then sit back to enjoy the warmth and aroma of your new favorite DIY product.
